The Giants improved to 3-0 at MetLife Stadium with their 36-24 win over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, a victory that pushed them into sole possession of first place in the NFC East for the first time since 2015.

New York won its second straight overall and moved within one win of its 2025 victory total (4) with 13 games remaining. The Giants will play next on the road against the division-rival Commanders.
The Giants had won their first three games for the first time in 2008, a year in which they went 12-4 and were the No. 1 seed in the NFC.

But it was dicey for a while. The Giants came out flat, falling behind 14-3 in the first quarter, and were in danger of dropping their first game in front of their home fans since Dec. 21.
But quarterback Jameis Winston led the Giants back, helping them outscore the Cardinals 33-10 over the final three quarters.

“So far, we’ve been finding a way,” Winston said. “I’m so proud of our team for doing that. It’s definitely because of our fans.”
